Achraf Hakimi Said Goodbye To Dortmund

Achraf Hakimi is now in Milan to become an Inter Milan player and before the move is made official, he said goodbye to Borussia Dortmund on social media in a message, but he did not write anything about Real Madrid.

It was on the morning of Tuesday 30th June when Achraf landed in Milan to pass his medical and sign for Inter. It will be a transfer and Real Madrid will have the option to buy him back,

The defender wrote a message on social media about Borussia Dortmund, where he has played for the last two years. He did not refer to Real Madrid at all.

Achraf did not have time to show everything he was capable of at the Santiago Bernabeu because he only played 27 games for the first team and was a lot of times playing for the B team.

“The moment has come to end a very beautiful time in my life. After two marvellous years, I’m ready to leave this club which has made me so happy. From the first moment, the treatment I received from the club and the city was incredible. Now I know that I made the right decision choosing Dortmund as my home two years back,” he began.

The full back has become of the standout players this season in the Bundesliga and in Europe making 45 appearances, 38 of them as a starter. He has scored nine goals and got 10 assists. Achraf has decided to take this decision knowing that he has almost not chance as playing as often for Real Madrid. He also knows that he fits perfectly into Conte’s formation.

“I want to thank all my teammates, coaching staff and all the club staff for their affection and trust in me all the time. I also want to thank the lovely fans who have supported us unconditionally in every game. I’ll never be able to forget the Yellow Wall, which is simply wonderful,” he ended after also thanking his family and friends.
